School Trips and Extra Curricular Activities
Every year, we plan an exciting set of trips and visits to support the learning in each of our classes from reception to year 6. Each class will participate in an enriching experience supporting studies in History, Geography, Science and the Arts.
In 2024-25 we are a delighted that we are a Spellbound School. This means that each class will visit The Story Museum and have a storyteller in class as part of our whole school work on improving oracy and inspiring writing.
We plan carefully to ensure that trips are high quality and as affordable as possible. We aim to keep costs below £40 per child (excluding Year 6 residential.)
We seek grant funding to subsidise our trips, but we do also need to ask for parental voluntary contributions towards additional costs. Parents have the option of paying by installments, paying what they can or overpaying, to support the costs of other families.
